The Insulmate Story...
Insulmate was initially founded by Shane over in Wollongong. He brought Insulmate to Western Australia in 2010, and the company has continued to grow since then. Our team at Insulmate offers premium roof, ceiling and paint work in both residential and commercial settings, meaning we can cater to all your roofing and maintenance needs.
Shane continues to foster growth within the company and in 2021, Insulmate became a certified building company. With the combined effort of our team and the growth mindset which the company is founded on, this means there is no limit to the scale of project that Insulmate is capable of dominating.
In 2025, Insulmate went through yet another expansion, incorporating Gutter Cleaning Perth and along with it, 2 new directors: Cody and Nigel. Adding a 5 star service and an opportunity to provide roofing services to a range of new clientelle.
We employ local people with the required qualifications, as well as the expertise and experience necessary to complete your work to a high standard. The Insulmate team take great pride in delivering quality results in a timely manner, and ensuring that on completion of the job our customers are completely satisfied with our work.

Shane is the founder and director of Insulmate. Being a second generation roofer, you could say roofing is in his DNA! Shane began working on roofs at the age of 15, and at 23 he started Insulmate in his home town of Wollongong. In 2010, Shane bought Insulmate to Perth, and still stands by it being one of the best decisions he’s ever made. Shane’s passion for roofing, years of experience and dedication to providing reliable work has resulted in Insulmate becoming the thriving company it is today.
